Naan bai

Naan bai Dotted all over Karachi are these little street side tandoors, where the freshest, crispiest naans are baked fresh, right infront of your eyes. The wafting aroma of freshly leavened bread; the musk of wet flour that somehow always reminds me of the sticky welcome rain smothering Karachi's parched earth when the monsoons arrive. Sometimes, just a naan will do.
