Wandering around India - it used to be hunky dory until the subject of the 'great leader' came up; and then all would unite in expressing their deep aversion and thinly vieled contempt for him; which I guess if anything only further adds to his pedigree, and can only do him good.
Their revulsion is understandable- for when he isn’t taking wresting mountain out-posts out of the hands of the Indian army, his favourite occupation seems to be putting Indian officials in tight corners on the world stage. It started with the 'hand shake' and culminated in his latest, the tour-de-force that is his ‘Kashmir agenda’.
Its forced India's hand into what is a token
reduction of forces, but a momentous occasion nonetheless.
