Maglev trains, wind turbines, 'car glider', the 'magic carpet' not to mention crystal towers.
Poor Karachi city government-they really did fall for this chap's rather ridiculous ideas, i guess you cant blame them-they are after all only learning the ropes.
What with his plans of making karachi the worlds source for central asian petrochemicals, shipped over in mag-lev trains.. it must have really made them feel they were on to something, poor folks.
After having visited the site-future prospects of karachi's citizens whizzing around whilst levitating over super cooled magnets seems decidedly bleak, notwithstanding the dozen or so MOUs that Mad-Scientist-Wagner has been getting signed over the past year.
Ah well, live and learn.
The site though is still a tremendous amount of fun, in a bollywood movie sort of way.
